Full Rewires and New Installations Perth

RSEG provides full and partial electrical rewiring, new wiring and electrical installations for homes, businesses and suitable industrial properties across the Perth metropolitan area. Based in Southern River, our licensed electricians can replace deteriorated wiring, upgrade older electrical systems and complete wiring for renovations, extensions, new buildings and commercial fit outs.

A property does not require rewiring solely because of its age. The condition and type of wiring, previous alterations, testing results and current electrical requirements must be assessed before recommending a full or partial rewire. Warning signs may include frequently tripping circuits, flickering lights, burning smells, heat damaged fittings, electric shocks, damaged insulation or wiring that no longer supports the property’s electrical demand.

A full rewire generally involves replacing most or all existing fixed wiring and may include new circuits, power points, lighting, switches, appliance supplies, RCD or RCBO protection and associated switchboard work. A partial rewire may be suitable where problems are limited to a particular room, circuit, renovation area or damaged section.

RSEG can also complete new electrical installations for homes, extensions, offices, workshops, warehouses and suitable commercial or industrial projects. Wiring can be planned around kitchens, air conditioning, lighting, power points, solar panels, battery storage, EV charging, machinery and future expansion.

Rewiring may require access through ceilings, roof spaces, wall cavities or floors. The amount of cutting or patching depends on the building construction and cable routes available. RSEG will explain the expected scope before work begins and identify any separate building or finishing work that may be required.

Electrical work in Western Australia must be completed by people holding the appropriate electrical licence. For qualifying electrical installation work, RSEG provides the required Electrical Safety Certificate confirming that the completed work has been checked, tested and is safe to connect.
